The Recycling Center is open to the general public.  Any resident from Butler Township as well as any surrounding municipalities is welcome to use the center.

Tuesday 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday- 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Facility Closed on Holidays

SEPARATE ITEMS INTO THE
FOLLOWING GROUPS:
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
GROUP 1
Glass - clear, green and brown bottles, jars

Remove all lids and caps and place in regular garbage, rinse containers, do not break, if broken, place in regular garbage
Plastics - #1 and #2 only
(note: these two items can be commingled)

GROUP 2
Aluminum- beverage cans

Rinse cans
GROUP 3
Tin - food cans

Rinse cans
GROUP 4
Newspapers

Stack papers tie with string or put in paper bag (not plastic bag)
THE ABOVE LISTED ITEMS
ARE THE ONLY ITEMS THAT WILL BE COLLECTED FOR RECYCLING.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE SEPARATED INTO GROUPS AS SPECIFIED.
